Presentation of €85004th November 2004The money has gone to The Adam Dealey Foundation. It is waiting there for the research project which the United Kingdoms Children's Cancer Study  Group are now evaluating applications from researchers and the best one will get the money. We are in the process of attaining charitable status for our funraising organisation and have named the charity Irelands CureForOurChildren foundation. It is being done in honour and memory of my daughter Krystle who fought this sarcoma with good humour and great bravery, but sadly the sarcoma was to win and take Krystle from us. But while the sarcoma won that one, Krystles fighting spirit lives in us and every day we get up we do battle, raising money for the research to find a cure this dreadful disease. With Mr John Dealey and his lovely family in the UK raising money for Research and we, Krystles family, raising money on a daily basis here in Ireland, we hope that with Gods Help we will defeat it. This charity is in memory of Krystle and the other young People whom no matter what treatment they had to go through always had a smile on their faces and showed courage that was beyond their young years. |
